Includes Pharmaogenetics, Medication Toxcity, Drug and Food Interactions&Models of Prescribing
Learning included
  • Pharmacovigilence – the role of the nurse in medication management, what is pharmacoviglence, adverse drug events, drug and disease interaction
  • Who can write standing orders and who can work under them, how long can they remain in place for and documentation
  • Why do drug interactions occur and what is important to know about drug interactions, risk factors including specific drugs and their interactions profile.
